How corrections are handled
We review the original source material and any new evidence. Material factual errors are corrected as promptly as possible. Clarifications may be added when wording is accurate but could mislead without context.
Updates
Substantive revisions should update the modification date. A correction note is added when the change materially affects the meaning or conclusion of the article.
